Empowering Women Survivors to Lead and Advocate for Their Rights
Sunita Foundation conducted a 3-day residential Leadership Development Workshop for the Survivors' Empowerment Group focusing on:
-Reintegration rights and local government provisions that can support their recovery
-How to access local resources and facilities offered by the government.
-The importance of advocacy to speak up about their needs and rights.
The sessions were designed to be hands-on and practical, using role plays and real-life scenarios to make the learning process engaging and relevant. Participants actively practiced advocating for themselves and others in real-world situations, helping them build confidence and communication skills.
